Next to Outdoor Connect, Reinout worked with Accenture, where he was instrumental in redefining Accenture's global telecom sector vision and set up and led the SaaS practice in the Netherlands. Earlier in his career, he worked with tier-1 telcos such as AT&T Unisource and Worldcom. He also served as strategy advisor to Nedamco Capital, helping to transform and grow portfolio company Swyx, leading it to a successful exit and securing strategic partnerships with Deutsche Telekom. He also co-founded and led NauticNet, a pioneering WiFi hotspot infrastructure venture that brought broadband to marinas and remote locations — later acquired by Enertel Wireless, a Dutch telecom operator.
Outside of work, Reinout is trained and certified in fine wine and viticulture. He is also a two-time club champion in senior golf — a title he claimed not through experience, but by redefining the game itself. His personal story, later shared in a reflection on strategy in practice, exemplifies his belief that true advantage comes from design, not effort.
